Introduction

I saw a video on the Harley Davidson website about a Josh Krupius exhibit in the museum. I'd never heard of him before, but I liked his pictures, many taken from the saddle of his rat bike. This lead me to do a YouTube search, and the find of more videos shot by him.

Then, I got inspired. I grabbed my old Nikon D50 digital SLR, cleared off the memory card and hung it around my neck. I started shooting while I was riding. I would say I average about 200 frames a day on my 130 mile round trip commute to work. Out of those circa 200 shots, I get maybe one or two that are actually somewhat decent.

I'm getting better though, knowing how to hold the camera and get the shot you want without looking through the view finder is a skill all its own. Who knows, maybe one day I'll get some really good shots off.

In the meantime, I'm going to post here some of the shots I like best from my experiments. I hope you enjoy them.

Ride to live brothers,
Monzie
